2014 March Wine Trip – Don’t Cry For Us…… It’s Argentina!

On the back of a 20% increase in sales of Argentinian fine wines last year, it was an easy decision to choose Argentina as the destination for the annual Charles Mitchell Wines Expedition.

Whilst it’s going to be extremely hard work eating the best steak and drinking some of the finest wines the world has to offer, we’re prepared to sacrifice two weeks in March to explore some fantastic new producers to add to our Argentinian Collection. Please spare a thought for us during our ‘pursuit of excellence’ tour!

We start our trip in Buenos Aires, and after a quick pit-stop make our way down to Neuquén, in Patagonia, to meet up with the Schroeder family and explore their award winning vineyards. We’ll then fly North to Mendoza, in the foothills of the Andes, to meet up with the Joffre Family, our most recent edition to the CM Argentinian Collection.
