Chris’s Wine of the Month – December 2013
The festive season is the time of year where we select our finest bottles of wine and share them with our family and friends. For me I will look no further than Clos Vougeot Grand Cru.
Pascale Rion and her family in Nuits St. Georges produce just 8 barrels of this nectar of the gods from their 1 acre vineyard in the most historic Grand Cru village in Burgundy.
This beautiful wine is succulent and spicy with a huge crescendo of dark fruits. This is a rare vintage treasure that rightfully earns its place at Château Pacey’s Christmas table. Please contact me to arrange a private tasting.
