Howard’s Wine of the Month – December 2013
From the wonderfully dynamic Valudero sisters, Carolina and Yolande, I’m proud to feature the wonderful 2007 Reserva from their beautiful Bodega in the heart of Ribero del Duero.
Having aged for 30 months in French and American oak barrels, the wine develops a complex palate with overtones of fruit ,tobacco, coffee and dark chocolate. Beautifully mature, and with 10 gold medals to be proud of, this Spanish giant represents great value. I recommend you lay down two to three cases in your private cellar, they’ll be gone sooner than you think!
