Howard’s Wine of the Month – December 2014
My choice for this year’s festive table is a 2011 Meursault from Domaine Boyer – Martenot, a wonderful wine-maker and a great friend of ours, Vincent Boyer.
This wine is one of my favourites. It’s a perfect match for your Christmas Day roast. Rich, voluptuous wine with a fresh character, well balanced with opulent fruit on the palate – all this makes the 2011 Meursault a perfect wine for your Christmas dinner. It goes amazingly with turkey and is strong enough to stand up to all of the the accompaniments as well.
