For the festive season, Howard has selected an elegant, fine Burgundy from a magnificent single vineyard, Monopole, on the southern side of Gevrey, immediately on the border with Morey Saint Denis. Domaine Michel Magnien, founded in 1967, enjoys an international reputation for producing full bodied, organic and bio-dynamic wines.
This Gevrey, characterised by bright cherry fruit notes with generous body and flavours, is totally new to our Burgundy list! Howard will be enjoying this wine on Christmas Day with his Chef’s hat on! So why not join him.
