2013 Louis Vavasour Sauvignon Blanc – New Zealand – Bin 121

I’m very pleased to introduce Louis Vavasour’s fantastic 2013 Sauvignon Blanc as my wine of the month. This crisp Kiwi stunner is from the Awatere River in Marlborough, New Zealand’s premier wine region. Sadly we’ve only received 100 cases of this stunning wine which is packed with tropical explosions of passion fruit and papaya.

The tiny harvest of 2013 produced a huge concentration of flavours and aromas that invigorate the senses, the perfect wine for summer drinking. At £299 a case it represents fantastic value. It’s a great tipple at this time of the year and ready in the Domney fridge as my go to wine for visitors. This wine pleases 99% of guests and it’s drink-ability makes it ideal for mid-week quaffing.
