Mercues est magnifique! We had the great pleasure to visit our new producer – Georges VIGOUROUX, Chateau de Mercues in Cahors. This magnificent 13th Century Chateau sits high above the banks of the River Lot. For 700 years the home of the Bishop of Cahors, purchased by Georges Vigouroux in 1983 this stunning Chateau now boasts a 30 bedroom Relais et Chateau Hotel with an outstanding Michelin* restaurant, with wines to die for!
