Wine producing legends visiting Château Irlam

September was an exciting time here at CM Wines! Some of the world’s most recognised winemakers visited our Château Irlam to showcase their new vintages.

The Kiwi wine genius, Hayden Johnson, came over from his Tarras vineyards in Central Otago to introduce a new range of wines, ‘The Canyon’ Pinot Noir 2013 and the 2014 Reserve Sauvignon. He joined us for some nationwide tastings and of course, attended some Rugby World Cup games.

We have also been honoured by a visit from Olivier Bonville, who came to visit us to launch his 2010 vintage Grand Cru Champagne. There are only five thousand bottles available of this amazing Champagne selected for your pleasure. Olivier considers the 2010 as one of his favourite vintages.

Mr. Joao from Feist Port House in Oporto, Portugal, prepared an unforgettable tasting experience of over 40 different vintages from their extensive vintage Port selection ranging between 1950 and 2000.
