Valduero wines triumph in World class wine tasting competition.

Our dear friends Yolanda and Carolina hosted a unique and historic blind tasting that took place at Bodegas Valduero in the heart of the Ribera del Duero.

13 outstanding wines from all over the world were blind tasted by 3 of Spain’s top Michelin star Sommeliers; Ciro Carro, José Antonio Navarrete and Joan Lluís Gómez.

As UK ambassadors for Yolanda and Carolina we are delighted to announce that Valduero featured not only once but twice in the top four with, Valduero 6 Anos Reserva 2009 and Valduero Gran Reserva Especial.

Jose Antonio Navarrete highlighted the elegance of the Valduero wines and how they express the depth of their ageing process and combine power with finesse.

Joan Lluis Gomez expressed this has been a very interesting and amazing experience.Through this tasting we have been able to experience first-hand that Bodegas Valduero have wines that compare with the finest wines in the World.
