A Festive Message From Richard Lambourne

For me on Boxing day, there’s nothing better than settling down with a beautiful glass of Feist port complemented by an equally good cheeseboard. On the 26th I’ll be nibbling away on some local Stilton with a bottle of our finest Colheita Port.

I’ve already chosen my Vintage and there’s a bottle of 1995 in my cellar eagerly awaiting to be opened. It expresses a rich raisin flavour with a fantastic balance of caramel and toffee. My crescendo is the velvety smooth finish on the tongue. At only £499 for a case, there’s no excuse not to stock up.

My other festive recommendation is our Orange Armagnac Liqueur. Aged in oak barrels with an aromatic orange nose, this liqueur is a marriage made in heaven! Enjoy!

On a personal note, some of the highlights of the year for me have been developing our relationship with the Champions Club in the Midlands and raising over £10,000 for Rainbows Charity. I would personally like to thank my private clients for their support and I’m looking forward to lots of wine tasting events in 2014.
