Burgundy Report February 2023
Chris and Howard have just spent four days with our producers and the situation is quite unique and serious for wine lovers.
Due to a minus -10C frost in April 2021, they lost 75% of their production, therefore volumes are significantly down and worldwide demand is at an all-time high.
They have however managed to secure decent allocations but many of our wines will sell out quickly this year.
Our advice is to buy your Burgundy sooner rather than later this year otherwise you might be disappointed.
The good news is we have stocks of 2018 and 2019 in some fabulous Premier and Grand Cru wines.
