A complex yet approachable red wine crafted by winemaker Marcos Eguren from two 50+ year-old vineyards—Valgrande and Jarrarte—in San Vicente de la Sonsierra. Combining traditional and carbonic maceration techniques, the wine is matured in new French and American oak barrels. It offers layered flavours of cherries, black fruit, coffee, and chocolate, with a delicate, expressive nose of spices and floral notes. Medium-bodied with fine tannins, it’s smooth to drink while retaining depth, and pairs beautifully with game, roasted red meats, and cured cheeses. Best enjoyed at 16–18ºC.
